Attendees: Malcolm Slaney Commentary: This was the first year. Malcolm had been rafting with friends of his at Bell Labs (Naperville) for a couple of years. Mike Overmeyer (a Purdue CS grad) had been organizing the trips since the summer of 1978.Malcolm got a call in June of 1981 asking if he knew of anybody that wanted to fill some empty slots in Mike's trip. The rest is history (and a lot of good times.) |
